Copperkid

Your goal: Finish a triathlon.

Our goal: Give you that opportunity amid beautiful surroundings.

The Copperman includes a 1/2-mile swim in Lake Fanny Hooe, a 19-mile bike along the shores of Lake Superior and a 5-mile run at the tip of the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula.

The Aspirus Keweenaw Copperman Triathlon stages at the boat ramp of Ft. Wilkins State Park, just east of Copper Harbor, Michigan. Individuals and teams are welcome. We will cap entries at 320 (and we reached that cap last year).

Why:

Promote fitness and raise funds for fitness, wellness and medical-related needs in the area. The 2008 proceeds will
be going to The Copper Harbor Trails Association, Fort Wilkins Natural History Association and will help fund the Copperkid Triathlon.

The Copperman Triathlon is a fitness event of Aspirus Keweenaw and supports the trails and medical needs of the Keweenaw Peninsula.
